Digital 101

In this class you will learn the basics of how to use your digital camera. Topics covered will include the terms of digital photography, camera controls, camera modes & programs, and tips on how to take better pictures. You will enjoy using your camera more and your photography after having attended this class! You should bring your camera, charged batteries and your manual, since there will be hands on learning. The class is FREE with the purchase of a digital camera from Dodd or $25 per person without purchase. Registration is required to reserve your space. These classes are offered at the Pepper Pike, Medina, Fairview Park and Mayfield Heights.

Digital Image Management

We will concentrate on how to transfer your images to a PC, create folders and burn a CD. We will also cover how to e-mail pictures, basic editing, and ordering prints online at www.doddcamera.com. Fee: $10/person with purchase $15 without.

Get the most out of your new Olympus Camera!!

Olympus Technical Rep Brian Chiaravalle will be reviewing the features and benefits of the Olympus E520 & E620. You will learn how to quickly access the most commonly used features to take better photographs. Topics covered will include the camera controls and their functions, camera modes, and menu options.  You are encouraged to bring your camera, charged battery and manual. Classes are FREE for anyone purchasing their camera from Dodd or Click Camera. $45 for non-purchase. Classes are to be held at our Commercial Store location located in downtown Cleveland. Please call your local store to sign up today. Seating is limited to 60 people per class.

Fundamentals of SLR photography

In this workshop you will learn about the technical aspects of the camera and how they relate to your photos as well as compositional techniques of photography. Some of the topics covered will include the use of shutter speeds, lens aperture, depth of field, ISO, metering, and guidelines of composition. The workshop consists of 2 parts - a lecture and an assignment, and a review. The fee is $45/ person and registration is required.

Nature Photography

This class focuses on the fundamentals and techniques of photography that apply specifically to nature photography. You will learn how to take better landscape, macro close-up, and telephoto images through the proper use of depth-of-field, shutter speed, & lighting. A basic knowledge of photography or having taken our Fundamentals of Photography Workshop is recommended. Fee: $35/person Registration is required

how to take better pictures, post production edit or whatever you need to achieve your end goal. We schedule at each Dodd Camera location according to your convenience and our staffing. Rates vary for the style of your camera.
