The ProMaster Digital UV/IR Cutoff filter blocks undesirable ultraviolet and infrared rays that may interfere with obtaining the best image possible with a digital sensor. This filter leads to sharpener and clearer images, reducing ghost images caused by IR radiation and the high sensitivity of camera sensors to this spectrum of light which has a negative impact on image sharpness. Using this filter will mean greater detail, more natural colors and finer color gradation. It also serves as a permanent lens protector.
-
The ProMaster Red filter is especially effective for increasing contrast. Ideal for dramatic cloud effects in landscapes. It can also be applied creatively in color and infrared photography. The ProMaster Red filter is designed for use with Black & White film, however, it can also be used with color film to produce special color effects.

The ProMaster Digital HGX Variable Neutral Density Filter variable neutral density filter providing light reduction of about 1.3 to 8.6 stops. The ND3 to ND400 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required.

The ProMaster Digital HGX Protection filter is a crystal clear colorless filter with second generation advanced anti-reflective coatings designed especially for use with digital imaging sensors. There is no filter factor and it’s primary purpose is to protect your valuable lens surfaces.
ProMaster Digital HGX filters are the most advanced optical filters available today for digital photography featuring:
- Next Generation Digital Anti-Reflection Multi Coating – Specially formulated to minimize internal reflections created by CCD and CMOS sensors in a digital SLR.
- REPELLAMAX™ Element Resistant Coating – This EXCLUSIVE ProMaster coating repels moisture, fingerprints, dust, dirt, and grime to ensure the sharpest images possible
- Hardened Optical Glass – Ultra hardened optical glass resists surface scratching and stands up to the most intensive use.
- Low Profile Anti-Reflective Frame – Ultra thin low profile frame helps prevent vignetting on super wide digital format lenses. The satin-like smooth finish helps to minimize reflected light.
- Black Rimmed Glass – The outer rim of the filter glass is treated with a special black-ink.
-
The ProMaster UV filter absorbs the ultraviolet rays which often make outdoor photographs hazy and indistinct. It is a multipurpose fine-weather filter for color as well as black and white films. Also serves as a permanent lens protector. The multicoated version of this filter has the ability to minimize reflection at the filter surfaces which reduces flare and ghosting. The result is an average light transmission of over 97%, giving sharp contrast and well balanced color; thus enhancing the performance of today's multicoated lenses.

The main uses of a ProMaster ND filter are:
- To decrease depth of field by allowing wider apertures to be used, which helps separate subjects from their background.
- To enable slow shutter speeds to be used, especially with fast films, to record movement in subjects such as waterfalls, clouds, cars, seas etc.
- To decrease the effective ISO of high speed film (ie: above ISO400) and allow it to be used outdoors in bright situations.
- To allow video cameras (which have fixed shutter speeds) to film subjects such as snow, sand or other bright scenes which would normally cause over-exposure.
