This is a two part class over a span of two Saturdays where you will learn the basics of your camera’s exposure and flash modes, along with a discussion about photo composition. We will explore the use of aperture and shutter speeds and their effects on depth of field control and motion control (both stopping motion and giving the appearance of motion). We will also examine those principles that constitute a good photograph such as composition, formatting your subject, and the basics of using light effectively. There will also be shooting assignments to ensure your understanding of the lessons learned. If you can adjust apertures and shutter speeds on your camera, this course is for you.
