A Mono/Stereo switch is also provided, which gives you the option to record a single microphone to both tracks of your camera (Mono mode) or record two microphones separately on the left and right tracks in your camera (Stereo mode).

Its omnidirectional pickup pattern is the best choice for video production, as it provides smooth and even sound.
