This optical slave sensor is used to remote trigger a flash unit that does not have a slave sensor. It can also be used as PC connector to Maxxum/Sony hot shoe adapter. Works with most flash guns in auto mode or manual mode (TTL mode is not supported). Compatible with Sony & Maxxum cameras.
