For action shooters, the X-T5 offers impressive speed with a top electronic shutter speed of 1/180,000 sec, mechanical shutter up to 1/8000 sec, and up to 15 fps continuous shooting with the mechanical shutter (20 fps with electronic shutter). Lag time is just 35ms—meaning near-instant response when you press the shutter.

FUJIFILM’s renowned Film Simulation modes are built in, including the new Nostalgic Negative, giving you the ability to create beautifully stylized images straight from camera. The camera’s battery efficiency is also impressive—up to 740 shots per charge with the NP-W235 battery, and the mechanical shutter is rated for 500,000 actuations for long-term reliability.

AI-powered subject detection autofocus tracks animals, birds, vehicles, and more with ease, working seamlessly with the 3.69M-dot EVF (0.8x magnification and 100fps refresh) for blackout-free tracking of moving subjects.

For pixel-level detail, Pixel Shift Multi-Shot mode captures 20 precisely-shifted frames, combining them into an ultra-detailed 160MP image—ideal for commercial work, archival, or high-resolution still life photography.

The X-T5 is also a serious video tool, capable of internal 6.2K/30p 10-bit 4:2:2 recording, oversampled 4K HQ, and support for F-Log / F-Log2. It outputs 12-bit Apple ProRes RAW or Blackmagic RAW over HDMI for seamless integration with Atomos or Blackmagic devices.
