Designed around the Z-mount, this versatile camera supports a wide range of lenses while offering built-in image stabilization, 15+ stops of dynamic range, advanced autofocus, dual-base ISO, and up to 6K/60p video capture in REDCODE RAW, Z-RAW, or ProRes RAW.

Exceptional Image Quality with RED + Nikon Color Science

By combining RED’s industry-leading color technology with Nikon’s imaging expertise, the ZR offers robust workflow compatibility. Record in REDCODE RAW (R3D NE), Nikon’s N-RAW, ProRes RAW HQ/422 HQ, or H.264/H.265 codecs while unlocking REDWideGamutRGB and Log3G10 for true cinematic flexibility. Capture resolutions up to 6K/60p, 4K/120p, and 1080p/240p for stunning slow motion.

Professional-Grade Audio

The ZR goes beyond visuals with 32-bit float and 24-bit audio recording, along with standard 48 kHz PCM for seamless video integration. Built-in configurable microphones offer five pickup patterns, while external mic support, a digital accessory shoe, and a headphone jack give creators full control over their audio.

Flexible Recording & Outputs

Record internally to CFexpress Type B cards with an additional microSD slot for proxy recording. A micro-HDMI output ensures smooth monitoring and external recording options, all within a compact, mobile design.
