The Profoto D30, a mains-powered monolight, drives diverse days forward.

The compact and lightweight design, combined with excellent flash consistency and bi-color modeling light, makes the D30 a reliable monolight, capable of enabling a variety of photo sessions. From product and fashion to portraiture, in the studio or on location, choice speaks the loudest when it comes to the D30. With a flash range of 11 f-stops, the D30 is an adaptable light, fit for every situation, as a main light or to illuminate a sliver of an object.

The D30 is easy to set up, and with its intuitive interface, you can start shooting immediately. The AirX connectivity allows you to have full control directly from the remote on the camera or from the Profoto apps.

There are three different flash modes to choose from: ECO for color consistency and increased equipment lifetime, Boost for a little extra power, and Freeze for the shortest flash duration and elimination of motion blur.

The D30 comes with a bi-color LED modeling light. This bright and energy-efficient light has an adjustable color temperature and video-quality color rendering. It can be used as a continuous light in some situations when just a touch of light is needed, and thanks to the adjustable color temperature, it is easy to adapt it to the surrounding light. The D30 is compatible with the wide range of Profoto 100 mm light modifiers, and thanks to its sturdy construction, even the largest light modifier can be used.

Your gateway to the whole Profoto system. Connect Pro delivers one hundred channels that each host six groups. Three groups are for TTL usage, whereas the other three are for manual use, giving you optimal control of the scene*. The large screen and intuitive interface enable easy access to the various settings, and you can see the settings in absolute numbers on the screen**.

Download the Profoto Control App to see the settings from a device of choice: iPad, iPhone, or Android smartphone. With a 100 m (330ft) range, Profoto’s Bluetooth-enabled technology, AirX, enables you to shoot from a distance. Prolong your active work hours with rechargeable batteries and stay updated with automatic firmware updates via Profoto AirX.
