VU Sion Q 100mm Square Filter Neutral Density ND1 #CLEARANCE

The 100 x 100mm Sion Q Neutral Density 0.3 Filter from Vu Filters is an ND filter with a 2x filter factor that provides a 1 stop exposure reduction and is compatible with a Vu Filters VFH100 100mm Professional Filter Holder. Its 0.3 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image and are ideal for pairing with other filters.

This Sion Q neutral density filter is constructed from optical glass for clarity as well as color fidelity. To prevent internal ghosting and reflections, each glass surface includes seven layers of anti-reflection coating. This multicoating also offers greater protection to the filter substrate and helps it to stay clean for longer than with uncoated filters. The Flat Wave Overcoat associated with Sion Q neutral density filters provides an additional eighth layer over the multicoatings on each side of the filter, resulting in an improved beading effect to repel water for greater cleaning efficiency.
